Our approach to nutrition is tailored to your life. We work together to help you come up with plan(s) that are manageable, realistic and sustainable.

Whether it’s an initial meal plan, flexible food goals, or anything in between, it will all be based around foods that you love and already eat on a daily basis. You’re not “going on a diet”, you already HAVE a diet, we just need to make it work for you.

I can guarantee you that you won’t have to give up any of the things that you love. In fact, I’ll be encouraging you to eat them on a daily basis. That’s how we’ll achieve Full Food Freedom.

Training

Setting goals is one thing. But it’s a whole different ball game when you find yourself in a place where you actually enjoy exercising.

For me, the perfect training programme is the right balance of things that you love, and things that you need. Whether it’s running, yoga or weightlifting, I’ll make sure that your workout schedule is tailor-made to suit your lifestyle - and will guarantee maximum results in the most enjoyable way possible.

mindset

I can’t emphasise enough what a powerful tool a mindset is, especially if you want to be successful in business. Having said that, this isn’t just about thinking positively and visualising what you want to happen – although I will teach you how to do that.

This is more about becoming aware of how your own mind works so that you can get yourself in the right place at the right time when it counts. It’s about understanding why some people are consistently building success after success, while others give up before they even start.

Support

Support is an integral part of this service. Any time you're ready for that difficult conversation, or need a nudge on progress, I'm here for you. Accountability is essential to this process and having someone who can point out the areas in your life that may need extra attention is crucial.

The weekly in-depth progress checks, access to a daily support group and Zoom review calls will ensure that you are supported throughout your journey.

Education

Education, is something that I definitely take seriously. Anybody can follow a cookie cutter plan for a few weeks. If you’re looking to make lasting change, you’re going to want to get some education.

Knowledge is power, and all that jazz! For me personally, education isn’t just about the “what”, but also the “why” and the “how”. I make sure to take the time with each and every one of my clients to teach you everything you need to continue to life a healthy and happy lifestyle even after we finish working together.

I was finding it impossible to train how I used to with my job becoming more demanding and wanting to fit in plenty of family time. I found myself going on really low calories for stints to try and shift body fat that never lasted long. I didn’t really want to work with a coach because I knew what I needed to do I just couldn’t stick to it. I didn’t see how a coach could get me to do what I couldn’t.Eventually after a few chats with Mike I gave in. I was at a low, feeling shapeless and unconfident around my misses and no idea what to do. I was still skeptical as to how he could help me but I gave it a go.I wish I’d done this sooner. Mike took into account my demanding work schedule, my need to family time and designed a programme around that. I was only training 3 times a week and seeing more strength and visual changes than I did when I was training 6 times a week.He made nutrition really simple so I could either prepare food or know what things to grab on the go that would guarantee I would see progress. He helped me plan family days so I could eat how I liked without stressing about whether it would effect my progress so I could really be in the moment with my family.This is the best I’ve felt in years. I also feel like I’ll never be back to where I was before starting with Mike. If you’re reading this you’re ready for change but may be on the fence, don’t do what I did and talk yourself out of working with Mike for ages because you know what you’re doing. People who haven’t seen me in a while are literally stopping me and saying “f*cking hell what happened to you”. I never thought I could achieve as much as I have working with Mike. I have worked with in person trainers before as well as other online coaches and never managed to achieve anywhere near what I have with Mike.I wouldn’t really call Mike an online coach as he offers so much more than training and nutrition plans. He’s more like an educator and occasional therapist haha.I have such a better understanding of training, nutrition and myself than I ever have. Every so often I say to Mike I’m worried I’ll go back to the old skinny me but he assures me would be impossible which I know but it’s good to have the reassurance.I’ve gained over 10kg and feel amazing. We’re currently in a maintenance phase as I need to fit in a suit for my brother wedding soon but I can’t wait to get back to growing. The level of education and accountability is far beyond anything I’ve experienced or even realised was available.

I’d been training for years but I found progress was slow and was beginning to get frustrated. Some of my friends had worked with Mike and recommended having a chat with him.After a few weeks working with Mike I realised I didn’t have a clue what I was doing training or nutrition wise before. What was great though is I didn’t feel embarrassed or stupid it was more a “wow that makes so much sense” moment.I like Mike’s approach to coaching. He spends time figuring out where your gaps in knowledge are and what your strengths are and builds the coaching around that. I found the catch up calls particularly useful as we talked through any questions I had in more depth. I found he strikes a good balance between being empathetic and calling you out on your excuses.I’m now in the best shape of my life and it felt weirdly easier than anything I tried before. If you’re wondering what you can achieve Mike is the guy to get you achieving more than you thought possible.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • It would be beneficial to have one for sure, however it’s not absolutely essential. You can still make great progress with home workouts, although you’d need some very basic equipment like resistance bands etc.

  • Yes! Absolutely everything is delivered online, so as long as you have access to the internet, you’re all set!

  • No! It’s my job to meet you where you’re currently at, then guide you to your goals. This means that no matter what your starting point is, you’ll benefit from coaching.

  • Absolutely, this will be part of your 6-week review, and you can change your goals and targets depending on what you want to work towards. Please keep in mind that I will ultimately give you the best advice for your long-term goals, which may not always match up with what you decided you want to do week to week.

  • Make me aware of holiday length and location so I can factor it into your roadmap. People go on holiday… sometimes multiple times, you must be educated on how to progress/maintain while being on holiday or this whole process is pointless. You should be able to stay in shape FOR LIFE. Not just the duration of your programme.

  • 100%. Everything is built around you and your lifestyle. My coaching is designed to be fully flexible, so no matter how busy you are we can make it work.

  • It will not be an issue at all, most of my clients have VERY busy and demanding jobs. Your plan will be adapted and will accommodate for any schedule changes/travel.

  • Yes. The minimum amount of time I’ll work with anybody for is 16 weeks. The reason being is that from experience, any less than that won’t be long enough to unlearn any previous bad habits you may have picked up, as well as cement new ones. However, most clients end up working with me for over 9-12 months. Life-changing takes time!
